NeuroRNA lab

Welcome to the Neurogenetics, RNA biology and therapies lab!

RESEARCH PRIORITIES

The main objective of the group is to understand the molecular basis of neurological diseases in order to develop new diagnostic approaches and personalized therapies.

Specifically, the group focuses primarily on the identification and functional validation of genetic variants and on studying alterations in RNA processing that occur in the context of various neurological diseases, with the aim of advancing diagnosis, prognosis, and the development of personalized therapies for these diseases.

We are located in the Neurosciences Area of Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute, a national and international centre of reference in the field of health research, giving priority to promoting translational research.
